Bosch Rexroth has announced the release of its next-generation EcoSafe safety fence system, further expanding its portfolio of modular components designed for protective enclosures in industrial environments. The new system prioritizes cost-efficiency, rapid assembly, and enhanced workplace safety.
According to the company’s recent press release, the updated EcoSafe system includes an aluminum frame profile measuring 22.5 x 45 mm, which now serves as the base component for all safety fence configurations. This frame offers a compact yet sturdy foundation for a wide range of protective installations.
One of the standout features of the upgraded EcoSafe system is the integration of direct panels—an innovation designed to simplify and speed up the installation process. These direct panels eliminate the need for intermediate connectors and allow for quick, tool-efficient assembly.
Two adjacent direct panels are now connected at the base using a new universal foot, and at the top with a robust fixing cap—all secured with only a few screws. The universal foot is engineered to accommodate either two 22.5 x 45 mm safety frame profiles or a standard 45 x 45 mm profile, and is anchored to the floor with just two bolts. This intelligent design minimizes the number of drilled holes required, helping to reduce installation time by up to 40%.
To further support customers in planning and implementing customized safety enclosures, Bosch Rexroth offers its free MTpro engineering software and MTpro Online Designer. These tools enable users to digitally configure their safety systems, automatically generate bills of materials, and seamlessly transfer order data to the Rexroth Online Shop or authorized partners.
With enhanced modularity, simplified connections, and digital planning tools, the next-generation EcoSafe system positions itself as a smart and scalable solution for safety in automated production lines, machine enclosures, and material handling systems.
