Installation method of hollow encoder
Generally, for hollow encoders, they are installed directly on the output shaft of the equipment. So how should the hollow encoder be installed? Firstly, install the shrapnel on the encoder and lock it with a screw. Then, loosen the locking ring of the encoder from the screw. Then, gently push the encoder onto the output shaft of the coupling on the client side. At this time, the output shaft of the client side is stationary. At this time, the encoder's main shaft needs to rotate twice. The purpose is to fix the shrapnel of the encoder on the installation hole. Finally, lock the locking ring of the encoder with the screw and complete the installation Install.
 
Precautions for hollow encoder operation
1. Regarding the resolution of the encoder, it refers to whether it meets the equipment's usage requirements. This means that when the encoder operates, it will output a set of pulses per revolution to see if it meets the equipment's usage accuracy requirements.
 
2. The common output modes of hollow encoders are push-pull output, open collector, and voltage output. So when using an encoder, it is necessary to consider whether its output mode matches the interface circuit of the device's control system.
 
3. During the use of the encoder, attention should be paid to whether the connection between the encoder output shafts is flexible. If there is looseness or jumping, it may cause the encoder shaft to be easily damaged.
 
4. When operating the encoder wiring, make sure that the wiring between the encoder and the equipment is not connected incorrectly to avoid damage to the internal circuit of the encoder due to incorrect connections during use.
 
5. When using hollow encoders frequently, it is important to regularly inspect the components connecting the encoder to the equipment. For example, check if the fixing screws of the encoder are loose or if there are any faults between the lines to avoid safety hazards and other accidents during the use of the encoder.
