Application of servo valves

Servo valves make managing pipeline systems, especially closed-loop systems, easier and more efficient. This is because they work using electrical signals and can be operated remotely.
 
How does the servo valve work?
The process is actually very simple. When you need to change the flow rate within a specific pipeline system, whether it is stopping or starting, rerouting, changing pressure, or changing its speed, all you need to do is send low-power electrical signals to the corresponding servo valves in your system using a digital control panel.
The low-power signal passes through an amplifier, which amplifies the signal until its strength is sufficient to change the position of the servo valve. Then, the servo valve controls the actuator (equivalent to a simple handwheel) to perform the changes you want to see with the flow rate. And since the system is closed-loop, feedback is directed to the servo valve. This feedback enables the servo valve to respond more accurately to received commands.

The application of servo valves includes regulating fluid flow in hydroelectric power plants and natural gas or oil extraction sites.
